Blogmas Day 20: Christmas Day and Boxing Day!

Hey guys,

I thought I would explain what I did this Christmas for post number 20- I don't think I should still call them days!

Christmas Eve: I finished wrapping up presents today as I had been visiting family and only just returned home on Christmas eve! I also watched the Grinch which I do every Christmas eve as well as baking cookies that I have done since I was little as well. I also went to midnight mass this year with my nan and great-grandma which was lovely.

Christmas Day: I got home from midnight mass on Christmas day so I went to bed quite late. I woke up and my brother and I opened our stockings and presents from my parents. We then opened presents from friends and family and our parents opened their presents from us. Then we went round to my nan's house for Christmas lunch which was amazing!

Boxing Day: Today, I had a lie in then we made crepes for breakfast! Then we tidied the house because we were having my mum's side of the family round. They came round and we all opened presents and had a buffet lunch we then played the goggle-box board game because that was a present from my nan. The teams were: my aunt and I then my mum, cousin and nan. The other team won!

I hope this wasn't too boring but I am not going to be finishing blogmas as I found it too hard next year I think I will do like 12 days of blogmas or something like that instead. Sorry!

Blogmas Day 19: Text Santa!

Hey guys,


Text Santa is on tonight and I thought I would write a bit about the sketches that I liked.

The charities that they donate to are Marie Curie, Together For Short Lives, Guide Dogs, Teenage Cancer Trust, Well Child and Alzheimer's Society. Here is a link to donate!

Olly Murrs is so kind! He asked to tell people to donate-how sweet! Also, Simon Cowell is so cute with those guide dogs. My next favourite is the I'm celeb 12 days of critter Christmas or something like that. It was so amazing how much they did to raise money-especially eating the eyeball!
Phillip Schofield is a legend for doing all this for charity, it is so amazing what people are willing to do to help others in need.

By the way, the other Blogmas posts are coming after Christmas as they are things like OOTDs that I cannot do until the day!

Blogmas day 18: Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire!

Hey guys,

Actually the title is wrong, we don't have an open fire but we have a wood burner type thing!

Chestnuts are one of my favourite Christmas foods so I decided to show you guys how my mum and I prepare our chestnuts. I am writing the intro before I have had any so I am almost drooling!

Firstly, you place a small cross in the top with a knife.

Then wrap them in 2 costs of foil.

We have got a lovely fire going!

Blogmas day 17: Mini Ramble!

Hey guys,

I had no ideas of what I wanted to write about today so I am going to ramble for today's post!

It has been getting closer to Christmas now and I have been getting really excited! However, school is not letting us! Now that I am studying a GCSE course, we do not have the time to! I have done a Christmas lesson in French and English so far but I still have two days left of school until I get off. This feels more like a rant than a ramble so apologies!

Also, I don't understand why we have to break up so late! I am so excited for Christmas already and I really want school to hurry up! Well I only have two days left on the day I am writing this but probably one when I actually upload this!

I also done a secret Santa this year present wise with a few mates. I got mine a Jack Wills body spray set as well as Milka chocolate and \starburst. I received this amazing Nivea set that I would like to review. I don't know if that will be in blogmas or if it will be in the new year however I have been loving the products from it and would love to share that with you guys!

I don't want this to get long so I am going to leave it here!

Blogmas Day 16: Winter Wnderland Tag!

Hey guys,

Another tag but I am very busy with school work and I should be doing homework right now...

What is your favourite part of winter?
Uh, Christmas! Duh?!

What do you dislike about winter?
Being cold! Being cold is the worst feeling especially when you are outside and cannot just turn up the heating or get under the duvet!

What are you're top 3 winter essentials?
My Carmex lip balm!
Hot drinks
Beanie hats

What is your ultimate product for winter?
Oh! It is still my Carmex lip balm!

Is it snowing outside?
No, not yet although I have always wanted a white Christmas!

What is your favourite hot drink?
I don't know if I have mentioned it but I loved hot drinks! I love lattes with shots of caramel or gingerbread. I love assam tea or orange and lotus flower green tea and orange hot chocolate are amazing!

What is your favourite winter movie?
Probably The Grinch.

What is your favourite food to eat in the cold winter months?
Tomato soup always warms me up but I don't really know?!

If winter was all year round, what would you always spend your time doing?
Probably wishing for snow!

Blogmas Day 15: Christmas Games

Hey guys,

Christmas can get kind of boring so we tend to do funny party games during Christmas day!

Charades
This game is so funny when people show what they are acting and then they act a random TV show or movie. I also go for jaws myself as it is probably the easiest!

Human Christmas Tree
I have never personally done this but I really want to. You basically just dress people up like a Christmas tree with tinsel, lights and baubles!

Racing
You can buy pre-recorded horse racing DVDs and you can guess who wins-try not to cheat and watch them before the big day though!

Movies
It is Christmas so why not stick a Christmas movie on like Elf or The Grinch!

Toys
If you are with young children then they often want to play with their toys. I got my nails painted last year from some-one's new nail art set and we also played Just Dance one year!

Blogmas Day 14: Things I Hate About Christmas?!

Hey guys,

There are not many things that I hate but there are some so I have decided to just throw them in Blogmas!

1. CRACKERS
They have to be number 1 on my list because they are kinda pointless! They make a really loud noise then you take out a hat which always breaks followed by a bad joke and a stupid toy like a shoe horn!

2. PHOTOS 
I have a beauty blog (mostly) so I tend to take care into what I look like such as make-up and hair however the camera comes out early in the morning causing pictures of mascara all the way down my face and greasy hair thrown up in a half up half down pony tail!

3. GETTING GIFTS
Wait, what? No, I like presents but when you get a gift and all eyes stare at you and the pressure starts building and you start seating and even when you love a gift it comes across as you don't because you try overly hard to make the impression that you do!

That is all I am able to think of!

Blogmas Day 12: Cute Curled Look for Christmas Day!

Hey guys,

I cannot do any hair styles so my friend Olivia done quite a casual-formal look in my hair for you guys!

 

Tie up this section of your hair...

 

Leaving out the sides.

 

Twist them like so and pin them in the centre...

 

So they fold over like this.

 

Then curl the rest of your hair.

Blogmas Day 11: Really easy Reindeer Nail Art!

Hey guys,

I am really rubbish at nails but I tried to make some reindeers on my nails and I do not think they are that bad!

 

I have just put Glow from OPI designer series on these nails and my thumb!

 

There is a light brown on half on my nail but it is hard to see!

 

I used a dotting tool to place two small back dots for the eyes.

 

Theses are meant to be antlers!

 

Then you just add a little red nose for Rudolph!

Blogmas Day 10: Makeup Look: Golden Eyes

hey guys,

I want to apologise for the lack of posts but my internet was playing up so I am going to try to catch up now! Here is quite a pretty look that you can wear to parties or actual xmas day!



I have used both Collection lasting perfection foundation and concealer as well as Rimmel stay matte powder!



I have applied Half-Baked from the Naked 2 palette from Urban decay on the lid and underneath the eye.



I have applied my collection eye liner pencil to my tight line and waterline!



I am now applying 17 blow out mascara.

I have placed some blush to the apples of my cheeks.

 



I am applying bronzer to my cheek-bones and temples.

I have now applied red lipstick to make the look more festive.
