Blogmas Day 4: Natural Plum Make-up Look!

Hey guys,

This is a beauty and lifestyle blog so I figured that I should do some make-up ideas for Winter! This year, I have been loving plum-ish colours but also quite natural so I have created a natural eye and face with slightly more bold lips look for you today! I also thought that my hat looked really cute with the look so added it for the end pictures.

I have used a mixture of two different foundations for the perfect colour and texture for my face. These foundations are Rimmel Match Perfection and Collection Lasting Perfection.

I have used Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer on the parts of my face that need a little bit more help. (I have an issue with my spots so please don't dwell on it!)

I have used Rimmel Stay Matte Powder all over my face to set the foundation and concealer in place.

Next, I have kinda sorted my brows. I am roughly filling them in with Naked 2 from the Urban Decay Naked Basics pallet but as this is natural do not go too heavy!



I am placing Buzz from Naked 3 all over the lid kind of roughly as it is a natural looking eye.

I have used Calvin Klein gel eyeliner on my upper lash line as well as lining my tight line but quite a thin-ish line!

I have put on my mascara next, I am using Soap and Glory Thick and Fast which is amazing!



Lastly, I have done my lips. I started with Barry M Cor Balmy lip balm in Currant Bun then added this plum lip gloss by Calvin Klein!

Blogmas Day 3: The Christmas Tag!

Sorry it is another tag post but I don't have much time today and I didn't want to miss a day!

What's your favourite holiday movie?
The Grinch! I know it is bad but hilarious and I watch it every year on Christmas eve!

What is your favourite Christmas colour?
Red-I explained this I the other tag post!

Do you stay in your PJs or dress up for Christmas?
Bit of both really.

If you could only buy one person a present this year who would it be?
Probably my friend Olivia as she is the most fun to buy for and as I am still a child my parents still buy presents for everyone!

When do you open your presents?
On Christmas throughout the day and on boxing day :)

Have you ever built a gingerbread house?
Nope, but my mum wants to this year!

What do you do on Christmas break?
See all my family!

Happiness across the world :)

Favourite Christmas treat?
I recently tried these snow star cakes and they were amazing! They are my new Christmas obsession!

Blogmas Day 2: Favourite Winter Nail Polishes!

Hey guys,

It is still early days so this isn't too Christmassy as I haven't got prepared for some of the upcoming posts! Really quickly: I will be doing an advent calendar review probably weekly!

This I rimmel precious stones in ruby crush which may not be the most Christmassy but it is amazing! It is a glitter polish but it is full-on colour with just 2 coats!

 This is Revlon Cherry Crush which is like a metallic red with gold flakes in it. It sounds weird but is a perfect Christmas red! My Aunt actually had 2 bottles of this nail polish.

 These polishes are counting as one just because! These are Beauty UK Posh Polishes. The red one is called Dorothy and the green one is called Mermaid. I think that these are the ultimate Christmas glitters and my Nan bought me these for Christmas!

I love 17 Fury as it is such a fabulous gold colour. It is slightly bronzey and quite glittery but I really like it and would love to wear it more often!

 

This is an amazing colour by Avon. They have a Speak Out range which helps those affected by domestic violence which this nail polish is from. It is such a gorgeous colour and not traditionally associated with Christmas!

 This is from my beauty advent calendar last year. it is a lovely red colour and I love Mavala polishes. It is called London because of buses and telephone boxes I guess?

Another Mavala polish! It is Pure Diamond and is an amazing glitter. I use it other other colours such as London by Mavala. I think that it could go with any colour and I love how small the glitter particles are. I don't think particle fits there?

 This is a Barry M crackle nail polish. I have used it over red because I love red and gold together! I used this over a red polish last year and it looked amazing with my red dress. Not blowing my own trumpet!

 Rimmel 700 Block Your Green is a lovely green colour. It is quite dark and a tadge green but I think it is a great
Winter  colour and all green is good for Christmas!

Revlon Cherries In The Snow is a beautiful red-pink. It is quite pink but I think it still counts as red and the fact that snow is in the title makes it appropriate for this post!

Blogmas Day 1: 12 Days of Blogmas!

Hey guys,

OMG I cannot believe that it is already the 1st of December! There is a 12 days of blogmas thing and I thought it would be an amazing idea to start off the series of blogmas!

What are your favourite Christmas colours?
I only really think of red, green, gold and silver as Christmas colours? My favourite out of that bunch is red then silver then gold then green. The red I am picturing is a ruby red.

Do you stay in your pyjamas or dress up for Christmas?
In the morning, I am in my pyjamas but I go out to my Nan's house for a Christmas lunch/dinner so we all dress up then so kind of both as we get ready quite late.

Do you open your presents on Christmas eve or in the morning?
It is a tradition to open up one present on Christmas eve and it is always new pyjamas which we wear for all the opening present pictures. I open the stocking and presents from my parents in the morning then later in the day, I open them from friends and family. On boxing day, I open the presents from my Mum's family as that is when we see them.

What do you do on Christmas break?
I literally break up on Christmas week so I just kind of see family and go sale shopping as there isn't much time for Christmassy activities :(

Favourite Christmas smell?
I am not too sure what this means but my Christmas/ December candle this year is Christmas cookie from Yankee Candle.

Favourite Christmas meal/treat?
I love profiteroles. Enough said.

What are you doing for the holidays this year?
I am going round to my Dad's parents with his sister and her family for Christmas day and on boxing day, I have my Mum's parents coming round with her sister and her daughter.

What's your favourite holiday drink?
Mine is the sticky toffee latte from Costa this year or the brownie hot chocolate!

Candy canes or gingerbread men?
Gingerbread for sure!

What is at the top of your Christmas list this year?
Probably a Tassimo machine (it is a coffee maker) or a new camera.

What is most important to you about the holidays?
Family.

When do you start getting excited about Christmas?
I don't know I am constantly excited for Christmas all year round because it is so magical and I love it!

Do you still have advent calendars?
Yasss! I have one where you fill it with celebrations or heroes or something like that and it is so cute!

What do you eat for Christmas dinner?
Well, I am vegetarian! I don't know what I will be eating this year as I turnt this year. There is turkey and gammon on the table though. Starters is like fish platters, soup or melon. Dessert is the best bit though and of course traditional cake and pudding but I always request profiteroles!

Real or fake Christmas tree?
Fake! I used to go and cut down my own when I was younger but they were so much effort so a fake one is the better option for us!

What's your favourite holiday polish?
Umm, I don't know! I will have to write a whole post about this or I will bore you to death!

Favourite winter accessory?
Do my Ugg boots count?

If you could have one wish come true this year, what would it be?
I am not trying to be a saint, I would wish happiness all round the world for Christmas day! I love Christmas and there is nothing that I need but there are people around the world that do need things so I wish happiness upon them!

What's your New Year's resolution?
To stay vegetarian!
