DITL: chessington

Hey guys,

I am currently stuck in traffic after a fab day out! We met up with  Harvey's  mate and his family. The card machines broke down when we arrived which was a bit annoying as it held us up. I went on the cobra first which is a spiny ride. It was a good one to start on for sure! Then we played on the machines before going off to the vampire which is great but you hang from above so I was worried that my shoes would fall off! The ride also broke down once it ended and we couldn't get out! It was ok but there were a few complications with Harvey.

Next we went back on the cobra but all the kids this time. It is one of my favourite rides there! We had lunch next. It was a picnic on a cute little field. Harvey and his mate went on rattlesnake but his mates brother, mum, my mum and I went round the arcade a bit as the youngest is just too small to fit on the ride. Even after being stuck, we still had to go on the vampire again!

There were more things happening but I ended the day with the ride I started it with and a lush Ben and jerry ice cream! I had a lovely day and thank you as I reached 400 views yesterday!

Starting Secondary School!

Hey guys,

It is back to school season and I remember the time I was a but anxious of going back was when I was starting secondary school. It is a big change from primary to secondary as the school gets bigger, there are more people in your classes and you study new subjects. Not mentioning the homework.

I was the first born so I didn't have an older sibling to look out for me. The first thing I was worried about was getting lost. You will get lost, it happens to everyone but you don't have to worry. Your teachers will understand and people are around to get you to class if you need them. You also start learning your way around the school day by day and most schools hand out a map. I would highlight the places where you have classes to make sure you know where they are.

Next, I was worried about people. I was separated from my friends from primary school which had never happened before. I am now so grateful and have met some great friends from being separated. Everyone in that class is in the same boat as you. They don't know you and you don't know them. If you talk to them, you make them feel more comfortable and have a new friend so you can be less worried to!

Homework is one of the biggest changes from primary to secondary and most people say do it the night you get it which I agree with but if you are too tired or are too fed up, do it later. If you aren't ready, it won't be to a good standard. If you complete it when you are awake and happy, it will be better than tired and sad but obviously complete it before the deadline.
If you don't understand the homework, go to see your teacher. They will not be fed up, they will be happy you asked rather than just not doing it. You could also e-mail them if you know it or have a system to look it up on.

Please contact me if you want to ask anything about this subject, I am happy to help. Comment or if it's personal, use my e-mail.

Funny Day Out!

Hey guys,

I was out the other day with my mum's school friend and her two children and we had a fantastic day! I have no pictures but this story is funny enough. Her youngest is a bit and he is lovely and sweet and he loves to drive the cars. As soon as he arrived, he said he wanted to go on the cars so that is what we did! Everytime he got off, he would lift up a finger to tell his mum 1 more. It was so funny!

We then went and had a picnic outside then I said that I would play hide and seek. It was Harvey and his friend against the two children. I was supervising as I was the oldest. The eldest hid in with the animals and the youngest went trying to find them. They went to look in the soft-play area.

After they came out, I told them to out on their shoes. I helped the youngest to do so and as I was a 7-ish year old boy came over to me. "Do you own him?" He asked looking at the little boy. I said no quite sharply as I am only 14 and he is about 5 so I was offended. Then I said but I am supervising him at the moment. The kid told me that he pushed his friend. The girl said that's cause he hit him! The boy replied saying that she had pinched him. I asked the girl if this was true and she said yes. The kid I was taking care if said he was involved but didn't start it. I told them all to shake hands and say sorry.

I then told their mum that they were involved in a fight. The girl said that she didn't know how it happnened but they all started fighting. After taking care of that, we had a lovely day until later...

When they had left, we had ice-cream. While we were sat down, a woman came over to ask if mum wanted a free photograph trial. Mum and I were sat one side of the table while Harvey (10) and his friend (9) were sat the other side. The lady then asked if I was a mum aswell and if I wanted a trial. I just looked upset and said that I wasn't! Twice in a day people thought in was a parent!

Thank you for a lovely day if you are reading!

Catch-Up!

Hey Guys,

Sorry I haven't posted recently but I have been rather busy seeing family and also friends that I haven't seen in ages! I was posting daily however I would liek to point out that it will be less frequent once I go back to school as I have to concentrate more on schoolwork as my GCSEs are coming up.

I will also be going to start a series where I compare different products to see which is best. I may do it once a month but no promises!

I will try to upload weekly if I am able to and I may do a few extra if I have something desperate to share.

Really sorry!

What's On My Phone?

Hey guys,

This is all around YouTube but I am screenshot ting what apps I have on my phone and telling you all about them! I don't have many but I use all the ones that I have and love them!

The first app that I have actually downloaded is Facebook messager. Facebook has changed their way of messaging by using a messager app instead. The next is instagram which I am in love with- I love taking pictures as you have probably guessed by now! Then I have YouTube which I mainly use my I pad for but it is heady on here for on-the-go. Next is pintrest which is another of my favourites because it is so handy for gift ideas and it never fails to make me cry with laughter! then it is Pacer which is a pedometer which also tells you how long you have been active and how many calories you have burnt through the whole day. Then it is Snap chat which I am very cautious with but I have it to talk to my friends. Then it is Whatsapp which is amazing so you can text people for free! 2048 is the only real game but it can keep me occupied for ages. Then I have my Facebook. Next is Perfect 365 which can make you look great even if you just woke up and it is fun to make people look funny if you are bored. Retrica is the best app for taking pictures and great for Instagram!

5 Beauty Products That Need More Hype!

Hey guys,

There are a few products that I have that haven't mean mentioned as much as they should be! Here we Go!

Revlon Nail Polishes: I love these! They apply beautifully, they are always opaque and the brush keeps the majority on your nail and I only ever use one coat! Totally swear by these!
Nivea Lip Butters: The most moisturising lip balm ever! I have all the flavours that I have managed to get and they are by far the best smelling and tasting too!
Garnier Moisture Match Moisturisers: These are holy grail products to anyone! They come n all sorts and can sort out your skin whether its is dull or oily or dry it doesn't matter!

Lush Stepping Stone foot scrub: This is the best foot scrub I have ever tried! I have a tough job removing all the rough skin on my feet but this males it a whole lot easier.
Ted Baker Body Scrub: A few years ago, I got a massive Ted Baker set and I keep re-purchasing this body scrub as the beads are so small and it is mainly beads not a shower gel with like 20 beads in.

This morning, I made a Dorset apple cake and I thought I would show you how!
Ingredients:
  • 225g butter (I use stork-perfect for cakes!)
  • 450g apples
  • little bit of lemon juice
  • 225g caster sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 225g self-raising flour
  • 2tsp baking powder
  • 1tbsp Demerara sugar
  1. preheat the oven to 180'C
  2. grease a baking tin- you can do a few small ones or a massive one!
  3. peel and cut the apples to about a cm3- leave the core out!
  4. you can put a dab of lemon juice to stop the apples from browning.
  5. cream the softened butter and caster sugar together.

  6. beat in the eggs, self-raising flour and baking powder a little at a time.

  7. drain the apple pieces and add them to the mixture.

  8. spoon the mixture into the lined cake tin.
  9. sprinkle the top with the sugar.
  10. bake in the oven until golden brown- about an hour.
  11. leave it to cool for 20 minutes and ta-da!
I absolutely love this cake and I want to thank my mum for helping with pictures and stuff!
